Our little chefs.......

Here are our girls helping me do dinner, they are always so keen to help, and even though it is easier to do it on your own, how can you turn down their offer to help?
Just to let you know I wasn't too nervous with them using the knife!!! (Well I tried not to show I was anyway!)

Emma, Paddy and Georgie all went to a birthday party on Sunday, as always they had a fantastic time and this is how they came home, they were all very pleased with themselves! (PS The black stuff doesn't come off clothes, which Georgie in particular managed to get all over herself!)

Back to school....

 

Well we are well and truly back into the school year.  I can't believe it is week three already.  Paddy and Georgie have taken to school like a duck to water and the absolutely love it!  Emma has slipped back into the swing of things, it is like we were never on holiday.  She also seems very happy with her new teacher.  I have to say I was surprised at the homework, it is a big step up from year two, but with a little encouragement Emma just gets on with it. Phew, long may it last.  They are all very tired as it is along day, and it has been ever so hot.  It does feel funny not seeing them all day, the first day was particularly weird, but Paddy and Georgie didn't even look back when we left, independent little Missy's!

School tomorrow.....

Tomorrow is the first day of the new school year, and also the first day of school for Paddy and Georgie. I seriously cannot believe it! The holidays have just flown by, it has been so nice to spend time with the girls without having to rush anywhere, not having to do school lunches, and sometimes we even stayed in our P.J's all day!!
The house is going to be so quiet without them here, everyone is asking me what are you going to do with all your time, I am sure I will figure something out, I will just have to get over the empty nest syndrome first!

Last weeks photo challenge was photo #30 in August of last year, well I have hardly any photo's for that month, it must have been quiet!! The only photo's I do have is off a school trip to Ambury Farm. The picture is of Emma sliding down a shoot which sheep go down after they are shorn!!!

Paddy and Georgie's 5th birthday...

Because the girls birthday is on the 6th of Jan, we waited until the 25th for their actual party, as everyone leaves town for their summer break. We went to a place called Chipmunks, where there is lots to do, and then you go to a party room for lots of food and cake. The kids had a blast!

A Fairy Party......

January has been a month of parties for Paddy and Georgie, I have lost count of how many they have been to!! They just love it, and here they are off to a fairy party, they just looked so lovely!
